You are right in thinking that London is the place to visit and learn a new and unique culture. London has a rich culture that offers you history, modern art, and theatre shows. You can never get tired of seeing all the sights around this wonderful city.
London is famous for its museums. Notable historical artefacts include the Parthenon sculptures, Rosetta Stone and Egyptian mummies. You can view them at the British Museum. The London Aquarium is home to around 350 different species of fish.
You should not miss the House of the Parliament. This is where you can see the famous clock and hear Big Ben which is a bell that strikes every 15 minutes. Trafalgar Square is famous not only for the statue of Admiral Lord Nelson, but for the pigeons that are common visitors of the site as well.
The Tower Bridge is a must see because of its twin drawbridges that is raised whenever a ship passes through it. You must not forget Buckingham Palace which is the castle of the monarchy. If you are into rides with a great view of the city, go to the London Eye which is a giant Ferris wheel.
Your next stop should be watching one of the famous London theatre shows. The Apollo Theatre is one of the finest theatres in London offering you West end shows that has entertained people for many generations. This theatre is named after the leader of the muses and the Greek god of arts.
This turn of the century theatre is known to be a great venue for entertaining not only Londoners but tourists as well. It is now a part of the Nimax Theatres as it was purchased by veteran producers. Along with Apollo, some theatres worth visiting not only for the shows but for the experience as well are the Lyric and Duchess theatres.
You can witness all kinds of shows and best-selling performances like Singing in the Rain, Sweeney Todd, and Matilda. You can also travel to wonderlands when viewing the Wizard of Oz, Lion King, and Shrek. Visiting London offers you a different kind of entertainment.
The sights, museums, rides, and the theatres offer you a distinct brand of entertainment only London can offer. The Romanesque and Victorian design of theatre buildings give you a glimpse of how luxury was before the age of computers and technology. There is no better way to understand London and appreciate their culture without witnessing London theatre shows and London theatre’s West end shows.

Hi Harleena – It is always nice to see you around and read your comments.
I am sure you will find a lot of interesting places in and around London, I am also interested in visiting and getting to know the culture there.
A short visit to roam around doesnt actually make one know about the place, it will surely be a lot different to stay in one place for atleast an year to better accustom yourself with the people. Hope to get that opportunity 🙂
