  25. Hi there,

Thank you for providing such an interesting blog post on Alternatives of WhatsApp. As we are in 2018 now, instant messaging is becoming a need of an hour. I will not compare any app to conclude which one is better. However, I find WhatsApp is winning the race and it is having the maximum users.

  26. Hi there.
Good posts mentioned above.I think no app can replace whatsapp in long term. And interesting, it keeps adding new features to make user experience better.

  27. Used viber , ebuddy , line , wechat and manny more . these day its a kind of trend to release new social networking apps link this talking of terand now a days vimo and musically took over the place.

  28. Best article, Praveen!

Thank you for sharing the list of chat applications!

I almost read every article of yours and enjoy reading them. You write very informative blogs.

I love WhatsApp messenger the most as it provides the best messaging services and many other features to its users. As per the latest report of statista, whatsapp had 420 million daily active Status users worldwide in Q2 -2018. Moreover, Snapchat is also a good messaging application. You can also add that in your list.

  29. WhatsApp is definitely the best among the Cross-platform Instant messengers. Infact WhatsApp started the messaging revolution which outdated typical carrier-based messaging.

  30. Hello TechIngenious ,
I have read your blog and shared valuable information regarding instant messaging today instant messaging are very useful platform to share their thoughts through instant messaging there are so many instant messaging apps like Whats app , Hike, line etc but Whats app more than popular other instant messaging.

  31. These apps are great for chat and even internal calls but I’m a bit weary about the constant need to update apps due to bugs. I mean, yes there’s no perfect app that can serve all our needs but there has to be a way so end-users are not left confused and even on-the-brink of uninstalling apps. The app industry profits so much from all the ads, in-app purchases, etc. but developers have to realize that end-users are not happy about constant bugs and user interface issues. By far, WhatsApp has helped my when I contact colleagues and clients online. Just like Skype, it’s a good alternative to Google hangouts and FB messenger.

  32. Though there are lots of social media apps has arrived yet there is no alternative for whatsapp still now. Definitely there can’t be a better alternative than facebook

  33. Also check out Campfire Chat. It’s a group chat app where you can discover mini-communities for your interests.
You can also create a community for any topic you like. It’s kind of like Slack or Discord but more geared towards discovering communities around the topics you like.

  34. I am using Line App which is an alternative to WhatsApp. Also, it has many cool stickers which are really great.

Thanks for sharing this really awesome Article.

  35. Hey Praveen, How you can forget about Snapchat?
It is the most used app by me.
I know, I introduced with 2 nice and amazing messaging app, Chat On and ebuddy.
But, I think Snapchat is better!
    Either way, great job.

  36. Well in my opinion what’s app is the best chatting app and its an oldest one which showed us this way of chatting with friends I remember my old days where I was texting my friends using the text messages and the providers were charging for this . The best thing I like in what’s are we can call anyone voice or video we can send files etc

  37. Hey Praveen!

I’m going to uninstall WhatsApp because of its new privacy policy, and I have no idea about a suitable alternate for that. So I do search for that, luckily I found this page. Hope, chatOn works well for me and it is from Samsung, so I’ll go for that. Thank you!

    Victor.
