This is the first of hopefully a series of “The Naked Truth“s about bloggers. I have been reading about conducting interviews and how it helps grow your blog by publishing facts about famous personalities by interviewing them. I have ready many of the bloggers have been doing that and of course they are successful in drawing more attention to their blogs by doing so.
But I thought instead of publishing interviews like question and answers, there should be a better way to make it more easy and presentable for the readers to get the quick jist of the whole matter within minutes. After some thought process, I came up with these list of questions which can be answered in a line or two and can be published in a tabular or matrix format. Hope it is easy for you to read and makes you stick on until the end of the post.
My first Guest Blogger – Carolyn Nicander Mohr @ WonderOfTech
I have known Carolyn from quite some time now and I have said this several times in several other posts and comments about my liking towards her writing style and content. No doubt she has several readers who consider her blog as a “Holy Grail” of technical gadgets and reviews.

Well lookie here, an interview with my famous Queen of Tech. Great job Praveen and you couldn’t have chosen a more suitable subject.
I will pipe in my two cents worth here and let you know right off the bat that I LOVE Carolyn and I LOVE her blog. Yep, she’s a fabulous person to know and I have learned so much from every single one of her posts. Even if I’m still not up on all this technology. I tell you one thing, I now don’t feel so ignorant when it comes to tech and gadgets. Carolyn explains things so simple in her posts and it’s very easy for me to understand. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that.
Wonderful post and I really enjoyed reading this interview with Carolyn. Will look forward to seeing who else you’ll be sharing with us as the new year is upon us.
Hope you are enjoying these last few days of the year and I wish you both a Very Happy New Year.
~Adrienne

Ah…wonderful interview about Carolyn – Praveen!
It is indeed always a welcome treat to know more about the people you admire and who give us an opportunity to learn something each time we visit their blog. Carolyn, Adrienne, and Janet to name a few are simply wonderful people to know and be connected with 🙂
Carolyn has indeed done wonders with her blog, and I truly marvel her dedication to write nearly everyday about things you and me would never dream of! She is surely the Queen of Tech, as Adrienne said 🙂
In-fact I hardly look up the Internet for the latest gadgets or tech. know-how, ever since I learnt about Carolyn’s blog- as she covers it up so well in each of her posts. And the way things are explained makes it easy for anyone to follow and understand them.
Thanks for sharing more about her through the interview Praveen. Here is wishing everyone a wonderful New Year and greater achievements for your blogs 🙂
Harleena – Thanks for your comment and the inspiring words about Carolyn. Yes, she is always there when you have any questions about a gadget or a tech site.

I am very grateful to Praveen for featuring me in this article. He is a wonderful blogger and always ready to share with others as well.Best to you in the New Year, Harleena!
Great interview with Carolyn! I was especially struck by the 3-4 hours per day spent on the blog (I was wondering if that was per post or more per post), as I find I do need to spend quite a bit of time producing a satisfying and informative post. In general, Praveen, this is an great format for an interview. Look forward to more of these.
Leora – Glad you liked it and I am happy that it made you think about how much time she devotes for her blogs. We all have something to learn from each other and I hope this is as good a platform as anything else.
Hope I get more bloggers to share their information so that I can keep this series alive.
Hi Leora, that 3-4 hours was per post. I always research what I’m writing, even if I know it well. A few times I have been all set to write about tech and then find out something has changed, For example, I might write about an app that I’m very familiar with, only to find it has been pulled from the App Store or recently updated. I also like to read other reviews to get different perspectives.
I never, ever assume I know everything about tech without doing research. Tech changes way too much for that! 🙂

Praveen, aloha. What a great title for a series. You selected a terrific blogger to lead the series. As you no doubt know, Carolyn is one of my very favorite people in the blogosphere. She has taught me so much. Her style of writing is educational and fun. With me, she had a tough task at hand because I thought I didn’t like tech at all, have a very small foundation of knowledge and no interest in her topic.
However, her warmth, caring, patience and clear answers won me over to tech–she had my heart long before I agreed to techify myself.
Comment continued here because for whatever reason, I couldn’t continue on. The Universe must not have liked the direction I was planning to go.
Anyway, because of Carolyn I now find myself looking forward to what new tech thing I will learn. Invisible Hand is a huge favorite of mine and I love dazzling my iPhone friends with all the nifty apps I send them.
Praveen, I love the format of your interview post. It makes it so easy for us to follow. Thank you.
Wishing you both a fantastic 2012 filled with wonderful experiences, interesting people and all that delights you. Thank you to both of you for your support of my blog which I so appreciate. Together, let’s make 2012 our best year ever. Hauoli Makahiki Hou. Janet
Janet – Thanks for your wonderfully kind words about Carolyn, which is 100% true as everyone else here would definitely agree.
Glad you liked the post and hope to feature you here soon. Hope you had a wonderful start to the new year 2012.
Thanks, Praveen! 🙂
Wow, Janet, thank you very much for your generous compliments. I am so glad my blog has changed your view of tech into something you enjoy from something you didn’t have any interest in. That’s great that your friends are impressed with your iPhone knowledge when you don’t have an iPhone (yet).
I look forward to sharing more fun and useful tech in 2012 and I hope Praveen is able to include you in this series soon as I know you have so much to offer us with your knowledge.
Best wishes to you for much continued success in 2012, Janet!
