Just today I came across this wonderful website which makes it easier for you to teach alphabets to your young ones. If you have a child in the age of learning alphabets, here is an easy way to make all the learning a fun activity. The website Alphabetimals has all the alphabets in the form of animals and it is just like a flip-book where you can go through the alphabets and hear the animal sounds and the name of the animal for each one.
I know there might be many apps for smartphones these days which have something similar, but I never came across a more clean and easy tool than this. All the alphabets are shaped like animals (eg: D is shaped like a Dog, A is shaped like an Alligator and so on) which the kids will find easy to visualize and learn faster.
Check out my website name in cute Animal Fonts via Alphabetimals!!!
The site also has some cool “Free Print-At-Home” resources for alphabets, flash cards, posters and coloring pages. You can even print your kid’s name shaped in those cool animal like alphabets and order it on a mug or a calendar. And above all they have a “Send a Book to Africa” program going, where you can purchase a gift and send a book to the villages in Botswana, Africa.
Here is a cool video featuring all the alphabets:
Wonderful indeed Praveen!
Had never heard of this site, and I like what all you can really do with the alphabets- surely something all kids are going to love experimenting with 🙂
We did make cut-outs when we were doing our courses, and its nice to see such things already ready for printouts. And the other goodies the site brings up is wonderful as well.
Thanks for sharing 🙂
Harleena – I am sorry, am lagging this week with my replies and posts. Glad you liked this, i found it very useful for my daughter, though she has grown past the “learning alphabets” stage, she still loves the song.
Thanks for stopping by.
I love it. I remember printing animal alphabet – coloring pages when Vidur was little, but don’t remember the site. One of those printables sites. Still have them colored by him. 🙂 This one so much fun – and am so glad I know lots of little kids I can share it with! I love the T-shirt idea on the site, Praveen! Makes a great gift. Thank you for sharing!
Vidya – Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment. I am glad you liked and all the little ones will surely love the creative way of learning his alphabets for sure.
