Creating an upscale themed event is about more than just food, decor and attire. It should also include a creative and unique theme idea that hasn’t been used thousands of times before. 1. An Upscale Thai Dinner Party

Set the scene for a lavish Thai party by incorporating silks in bright and bold colors like you might see while on vacation in Thailand. Red, pink, green, orange and blue silks can be used on the walls, the table and even used to make seat cushions for each of the chairs. The main attraction, of course, will be the delicious Thai feast. Make sure that the meal includes a spicy curry, fresh seafood dishes and delicious appetizers like spiced Thai crab cakes, fried shrimp with dipping sauces and lumpia spring rolls. Ask guests to dress in traditional Thai outfits or to draw on Asian couture for their attire inspiration. Play Thai music softly in the background to create a more authentic atmosphere.

2. Circus Themed Parties

If you have the budget to make a party truly upscale, then a circus theme can be an incredible event. Forget about the popcorn and clowns from a child’s circus and embrace the more exotic and alluring aspect of the theme.
