    i liked whatsapp but now i am using Hike, it allows to send messages to people who are not having HIke on their phone so i guess its better then whatsapp. and from the above list, i have used viber but did not like it

    I am total crazy for watsapp and Viber..The thing about viber is it provides the facility for free calling..There is another app called Hike, which offers almost similar features as Watsapp…I will check out the others you have mentioned here..

    Great list out there. But Praveen, the best part about Whataspp is that it is quite elegant and simple to use. I have been testing all these instant messaging apps and none stands close to Whatsapp when it comes to user friendliness.
    Anyways, i think that people will be shifting to other messaging apps because Whatsapp is not free after 1 year.

    Whatsapp is a good android messenger but I like LINE more than whatsapp. After using one year you will pay a cost for whatsapp. That’s why I want to avoid it.

    i think whatsapp for android is itself a good option for most of the online chat persons, because if you want to reach to your most of the friends than you should have an option which is used by all, and i think whatsapp is that option.
