A Tablet for your Kid – All New LeapPad

A few days back I wrote an article to list Top 10 Christmas Gifts for Gamers which are under $50 where I also listed out a few which were for kids like the LeapFrog Leapster 2 Learning Game System but I didnt include the All New LeapPad in that list since it costs a little more than the price range I was listing in that post.

Well, over the last weekend, I had been to my daughters’ friend’s place and the parents were showing how wonderful the new LeapPad is and how their kid has learnt so much of the pre-school stuff that is really difficult to teach without an interactive system like the LeapPad.

One look at the product and my wife decided it would be the next thing we will buy to our daughter, and I completely agree with this. The LeapPad was recently released by LeapFrog and is the new personalized learning tablet just for kids! A built-in camera/video recorder, a library of 100+ cartridge games and activities and innovative creativity and reading apps offer limitless learning and endless ways to play!

The number of applications already available for the LeapPad is amazing and you can find everything perfect to download and get your kid busy from Day1. There are apps to play games like the Toy Story or Cars and also games for little girls featuring Dora, Disney Tangled, Little Mermaid and many many more. All this comes free to download to the LeapPad via your laptop and your kid will surely love it.

  1. If kids are exposed to Laptops and Smart phones, this might turn out to be boring 🙁 I got this one for my son but now have to do a second round to Toys R Us to return this.

    1. Roopa – Welcome to my blog and thanks for leaving a comment. The answer to your problem lies in your question:-) Anyway how old is your son? The LPad is fit for toddlers from around age 3 to 6, I highly recommend pre-school kids to have this one as it will surely help them get prepared for their school-era.
